Cutting and processing fruit and vegetables is an art in itself. Hessing has mastered that trade for more than 50 years. They process the fresh raw materials into ready-to-eat vegetables, processed fruit and meal salads. They supply these to supermarkets, fast-food chains, wholesalers, catering companies and inflight caterers.

The thousands of kilos of fresh fruit and vegetables are inspected, cut, mixed, packaged and delivered within hours. As one of the leaders in the vegetable processing industry, there is only one promise that counts: every Hessing product must be convenient, tasty, healthy and super-fresh.

Hessing Supervers has built a new production site in Greenport Venlo where they will soon Process over 320,000 kilos of raw materials into more than 850 fresh vegetable products every day. Along with the new building, industrial automation has been taken to the next level by Actemium using AVEVA System Platform and MES.
